About Handmade Pottery

All of my pottery is handmade, and each item is unique. Many pieces are gas fired, which means that the flame of the kiln may change the shape of the pottery so that it is no longer perfectly round, but instead has a traditional "kiln changed" shape and aesthetic.

I do my best to photograph each piece faithfully, but please understand that there will always be a difference between screens and reality.

All pottery is fully dishwasher and microwave safe. However, all ceramics have a much longer life being handwashed and air dried bottoms up, away from the steam and alkaline environment of the dishwasher. I personally handwash my own handmade pottery collection, and that is my recommendation for care.
