Seafoam Chun Teacup

A small porcelain teacup perfect for enjoying traditional tea or sake.  

Chun is a traditional Chinese glaze that gets its blue color from a phase-shifted crystalline reaction in the kiln that makes opalescence. The blue to green color varies with the conditions of the reaction. This cup developed a soft, pastel blue-green color with drips reminiscent of the foam of waves. 

Measures approximately 7cm wide x 5.5 cm tall.
