Copper Red Teacup

A small porcelain teacup perfect for enjoying traditional tea or sake.  

Copper red is a traditional Chinese glaze that comes from the copper colorant forming crystals in reduction. The size of the crystals determines the quality of the copper color, and the texture of the crystals adds interest and variation. This small cup has developed a beautiful tomato red with variegated texture from the firing process, and a lush drip of glaze.
