Evening Rain Chun Teacup

A small porcelain teacup perfect for enjoying traditional tea or sake.  

Chun is a traditional Chinese glaze that gets its blue color from a phase-shifted crystalline reaction in the kiln that makes opalescence. The blue to green color varies with the conditions of the reaction. This cup developed a speckled denim blue color reminiscent of morning fog. 

Measures approximately 8cm wide x 6.5cm tall.
