Tenmoku Teacup

A small porcelain teacup perfect for enjoying traditional tea or sake.  

Tenmoku is a classical iron saturated glaze prized for its black color. When used with a tea like matcha, the contrast between the black and green is stunning. The iron lends the glaze a shiny, pebbly texture that makes the cup easy to grip, but not rough to the touch. Speckles of red-brown tea dust grace the rim.
